Watch: Bose presents Scene Unseen #1 Dancehall in Japan Posted: 23 Jul 2014 04:24 AM PDT In the first film of a trilogy exploring music scenes around the world, Bose presents Scene Unseen, investigating the growing success of dancehall and reggae in Japan. Following Yokohama’s soundsystem kings Mighty Crown, one of the scene’s most well known dancers Batty Bom Bom and the brilliantly named The Illmatic Gyalz, the film illustrates how dancehall’s music and cultural norms has become a fundamental part of their daily life. Despite being on the other side of the world, the subjects demonstrate that the scene is just as vibrant and energetic as in its home country.
