Here is Boards of Canada remix of the title track "Sisters" From Leaving Records: Odd Nosdam makes his second appearance on Leaving Records and greets 2016 with Sisters. Throughout, Nosdam splits his time between cosmic, slow burning beats and reflective soundscapes littered with intriguing textures and mind bending samples. Analogue sounds are generous and knowingly manipulated. Gorgeous samples are deployed, sturdy yet emotional. Cymbals explode. Already a long revered figure in underground beats, in the last several years Odd Nosdam has been able to test his new productions on the world class sound system of Low End Theory. Much of Sisters was inspired by those room shaking sonics, so it is fitting that kindred spirit Teebs makes an appearance here in a dreamy collaboration. Although Sisterscontains plenty of absolute bangers, its quieter moments also stun with their hypnotic beauty. Nosdam writes of the inspiration for the title track, "when the sun finally breaks through on an overcast day, Sisters was very much inspired by that wonderful moment… and the longing for it." Happy Accidents are back from a short break since they last released their beautiful vocal and the instrumental cover of Blur's epic track "Sing" (LINK) in which they shared their signature arpeggiated disco baselines and synthpop style. Today they reveal a new remix for the multi-talented Australian native, Alison Wonderland. Taking on her hit single "Run" from the album of the same name, which charted at #1 on the Billboard US Dance/Electronic Chart, #1 Album on US iTunes Electronic chart. A gentle mix of melodies and downtempo disco vibes will have you floating away on the chilled out vocal bassline. Happy Accidents remark, "We fell in love with "Run" a while back but have been very busy working on original material. We took a short break to bring this remix to you, hope you enjoy it!"

There we were introduced to amazing names like Arctic Moon, Brian Kearney, and Mark Sherry. Shortly after that, Armin did a full A State of Trance Episode dedicated to the 138 sound.
