Premiere: Val Young – If You Should Ever Be Lonely (John Morales M+M Mix)
One of disco’s founding fathers John Morales presents Club Motown, a new 2-CD compilation that functions as a certified piece of dancefloor history and a dedication to the beginnings of DJ's and dance culture.

Focussing on classics from the late 1970s and 1980s roster of the inimitable Motown movement, Club Motown is a selection of classic tracks and hidden gems – many of which have been unavailable since their original release – alongside five unreleased Morales mixes. We have the first exclusive play of Val Young’s If You Should Ever Be Lonely (John Morales M+M Mix) below.

The CD can be pre-ordered here. Morales will be performing on Boiler Room alongside Hercules & Love Affair, Robert Owens and The Reflex on Thursday 24th July.

Taking its title from the ’70s TV sitcom set in a Chicago housing project, the mixtape features Black Jungle Squad regulars Oliver the 2nd, Tre, Isreal and additional production help from Oliver the 2nd, Lord Raja and Stones Throw labelmates Jonwayne and Knxwledge.
Good Times is available to download from Dat Piff. Check the video below.
