We’ve known Bad Boy Bill for a long time now. Every since the early raver days we’ve loved his Hard House sound. Since then, Bad Boy Bill has changed up his vibe a bit and transversed a into the progressive house / electro sound. And we have to say, it’s working for him. We just found he has a show called Behind The Decks and we are liking what we are hearing. So plug in and get a does of badness.

It’s about time Nicky Romero jumped on the DJ Show bandwagon. We’ve been seeing a lot of DJ starting up their own radio shows to give us a constant stream into their music. Protocol Recordings is Nicky’s very own record label. So its only natural he set up a banging mix show to promote it. We are on board, lets go!

When you think of a DJ Snake track, you think of massive heavy trap drops, dirty bass, and all around get-low attitude. That is what we love about DJ Snake. But that is not all that he is, as he showcases that in the preview for his official remix of Zedd’s ‘Stay The Night‘ feat. Hayley Williams. ‘Stay The Night‘ is the followup to Zedd’s highly popular single ‘Clarity‘. While it hasn’t garnered as much attention as ‘Clarity‘, ‘Stay The Night‘ is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Now with a remix already done by Tiesto, DJ Snake gets to add his name to the list of DJ’s adding their own unique spin on this track. In the preview, DJ Snake opens up with a smooth piano chord progression with the vocal hook from Hayley Williams laid out on top of it. It then slowly leads into a massive buildup that then drops into a ridiculous breakdown with a thunderous bass, and pure electro vibes flowing through the track with needing all the distortion or chainsaw sounds that most other DJs add to this style of track. The breaks in the beat are on point and the energy and drive in the track just will make the crowd erupt. DJ Snake really outdid himself with this remix here. While the preview is short and sweet, it hits the point and is going to let fans know there is plenty more of this to come. The DJ Snake remix of Zedd’s ‘Stay The Night‘ featuring Hayley Williams will be available October 29th on Beatport and iTunes. |
