Nashville newcomers, Basecamp , burst onto the scene late this summer with the R&B infused single, “Emmanuel,” which saw widespread support from artists and press alike. Outlets across the board compared the profound, fervent vocals and glitchy, percussive production to that of SBTRKT and Sampha — rightly so as “Emmanuel,” and the other 3 tracks on the debut self-titled EP, scream out to be played live in every way.
As with any great release come great remix packages, and today, we’re happy to premiere our friend Them Jeans ‘ deep, dancefloor-ready remix of the breakout single. He’s found a beautiful balance of utilizing the blissful vocals from the original while kicking up the tempo to a nice, grooving 124BPM. Give it a listen below.
