Don Diablo is quickly becoming one of the most stand out DJs in the dance music scene. Not following the path of everyone else, Don Diablo has essentially made his own unique sound that is now being sought after by every music fan. More than just a DJ, Don Diablo is an all-around performer, bringing energy and charisma every time he is one the stage. Don Diablo recently showed off his brand new single ‘Origins‘ that is set to be the title track for the new Batman Arkham Origins video game. To coincide with the single, set for release November 28th, Don Diablo has announced his Origins US Tour. Starting October 23rd and continuing until November 2nd, Don Diablo will be making stops in El Paso, New York, Boston, Miami, and Los Angeles for a special Halloween performance at LURE. Everyone knows the iconic Fatboy Slim song ‘Praise You‘. The track was released as the third single from his second studio album, You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby, in 1999. ‘Praise You‘ has been sampled a number a times as well as features many samples in itself. ‘Praise You‘ features a prominent vocal sample from the opening of ‘Take Yo’ Praise‘ by Camille Yarbrough, as well as a prominent piano sample from the track ‘Balance and Rehearsal‘ from a test LP entitled Sessions released by audio electronics company JBL. The song also features a guitar sample from the opening of ‘It’s a Small World‘ from the Disneyland Records-released LP Mickey Mouse Disco, and the song’s bridge also samples the theme from the cartoon series Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. Today, Ferry Corsten has unleashed unto his Soundcloud his personalized Ferry Corsten bootleg that he has been showcasing throughout all of his sets. The bootleg features a long, drawn-out introduction, leading to a steady buildup. But once that part is complete, the song really takes off with the chop synth progressions, the uplifting energy and the pure trance sound. Now if only Ferry Corsten would put it up as a free download (wink, wink) we could all enjoy it. Check out the Ferry Corsten bootleg of ‘Praise You‘ down below. |

Bjorn Akesson came to us through a artist submission and we are glad he did. His music is elevating and definitely gets your adrenaline pumping. his style is mainly trance but he throws in a lot of other genres of music which makes his sets interesting and upbeat. He belnds all these different styles graciously and always keeps a smooth groove going. Listen up! Bjorn is an amazing artist, your gonna love this.

Icona Pop has turned around the pop music scene with their track ‘I Love It‘. It was one of the biggest tracks this summer. Now, they return with their brand new single ‘Girlfriend‘. Giving it a good once over is the incredible New York duo of The Chainsmokers. The story behind this remix is that The Chainsmokers begged their friend at Atlantic Records to get them the stems for the song. Atlantic Records took a chance and asked them to remix it, and the end product was this massive banger. The Chainsmokers keep the pop mentality of the song with the upbeat rhythm and smooth melodies and happy synths, before busting out with the massive bass kick “EPIC” sound that has been sweeping over the music scene as of late. The Chainsmokers have also included a short video that they made to the track. The video wants you to choose a side, #TeamAlex or #TeamDrew. Secondly, it shows that no matter how old you get, you are still the same kid you were at 10 years old. Eating too much candy and getting sick, we have all been there. You can listen to the full version of the track here, and make sure to get your copy of ‘Girlfriend‘ today. Buy Track Here |
