Some songs get too big for their own good, and it takes someone injecting some fresh blood into it for you to step back and gain a new perspective on it. GDD™ homie Amtrac has done just that with Duke Dumont and A*M*E’s 100000% smash hit single ‘Need U (100%)’, and he’s provided a new shelf life for a song that you seemingly couldn’t get away from for the first half of 2013.
Reserved with its use of the signature vocals of the original, it’s more dancefloor-oriented, and a pumping little number that would fit nicely in any deep or tech house set. Available for free download via Amtrac’s SoundCloud (and above), I couldn’t be happier to have an excuse to play a rendition of this out once again!
