The dance music community erupted in cheers and screams of excitement when Rob Swire announced that Pendulum would be reuniting to create a new album for 2014. He also stated that it didn’t mean the group would be getting back together to perform or do any touring.
Well now we know that, that is in fact not the case. Pendulum has announced the lineup for their fall 2013 North American Tour. Pendulum will be hitting the road for 7 dates in the US and 1 date in Canada, for a legendary DJ set.
Stops on the tour include Tallahassee, San Francisco, New York and Denver. Pendulum will also be pulling out all the ropes as the group will be stopping at Insomniac Events‘ Escape From Wonderland.
It has been a while since we have heard from Pendulum. Pandemonium is going to take place at all these dates as fans are going to be experiencing something unique and special. In honor of the group getting back together, click the link below to listen to the Pendulum Essential Mix from 2010.

Feed Me Lonely Mountain
Feed Me is about to unleash his brand new album this Monday. Entitled Calamari Tuesday, Feed Me has been previewing some of the new material set to be released on the new album. Today, we get another track off of the album with ‘Lonely Mountain‘.
What can be said about this track except for game changing. It has massively intense beats, big distorted bass, and many electronic undertones powering the song along. Feed Me has combined dubstep and electronica in the breakdown of ‘Lonely Mountain‘, causing the person to get lost in what was just experienced. Throughout the song, the listener has no idea what to experience next. Going from progressive, to electronica, to dubstep, to elements of drum & bass, Feed Me has opened up a jar of genre-blending elements and there is no lid in sight.
With the full album of Calamari Tuesday set for release on Monday, we see no reason why it won’t jump straight up the charts. With tracks like ‘Lonely Mountain‘ and ‘Fat Rat‘ already creating such massive buzz around the album, fans are going to be sitting in front of their computers patiently waiting to experience Calamari Tuesday and what Feed Me has created.

Today, Afrojack has unleashed his latest single ‘The Spark‘ unto the public. Coming off of his debut album expected in early 2014, ‘The Spark‘ is an incredible combination of Dutch House, Progressive beats, Big Room Anthem with pop-mentality. While this song can be streamed across the radio waves of any station out there, The track is also a peak-time fan connector, as evident when he dropped the track at TomorrowWorld and the entire crowd instantly started to sing along. Unlike other websites who say, “‘The Spark’ is less appropriate for his live shows and more so for global airwaves,” I want you to know, that you are so very wrong. While it is perfect for airwaves, it is also perfect as a festival/club banger.
Afrojack has also released a music video for ‘The Spark‘. Featuring vocals from Spree Wilson, the video showcases him and Afrojack in a lavish mansion with two beautiful women, Afrojack in his Lamborghini Gallardo which he is known for speeding in, a man working out, and a group of friends wandering the streets of Las Vegas. With Spree Wilson looking like B.O.B’s twin brother, the video is just something for fans to enjoy while listening to a great track. You can buy your copy of ‘The Spark‘ today.

Mat Zo Lucid Dreams
Mat Zo’s debut album Damage Control has yet to come out, but still it has become one of the most talked about albums of the year. With smash hits like ‘Easy‘ with Porter Robinson and ‘Pyramid Scheme‘ with Chuck D already becoming massive hits, Damage Control has become an album for us all to stand by with its genre-defying blend of sounds.
Now, Mat Zo is set to release another single off of his highly anticipated album on October 22nd. ‘Lucid Dreams‘ is the name of the track, and its production is the most interesting thing released from this young British talent yet. ‘Lucid Dreams‘ is a combination of super-charged bass, with a breakdown of melodic French-house with an elegant vocals. The breakdown is reminiscent of something Daft Punk would have produced back in their album Homework. All this leads up to the massive moment with the big room synths kick in and turn this into a dance floor killer.
It is great to see when experimentation goes right and a sound is discovered that has never been explored before and that can help re-shape a stale scene. That is exactly what Mat Zo has done. He has created something unique and original, different from what the masses have been creating. Pure magic is what is heard in ‘Lucid Dreams‘. Get your copy when it is released October 22nd on Anjunabeats/Astralwerks.

It is sad, but true. Breaking Bad is gone forever. Mr. White is dead. There will be no more fried chicken, desert shootouts, barrels of money, and of course, meth. The latter of which might be a good thing though. But we are all going to miss it substantially. But a little piece of Breaking Bad will forever live in the dance music scene as Zen Freeman and Tom Neville have teamed up with Jesse Pinkman himself, Aaron Paul for the track ‘Dance Bitch‘.
Now, LA-based production companies, X-Produced & Steve Nguyen & Associates, have taken it upon themselves to create a fan appreciation video for the track. This video for ‘Dance Bitch‘ takes place in the middle of a CA desert, stars some of the hottest models you have ever seen, plenty of meth candy, and plenty of reminders why Breaking Bad was such an incredible piece of work that it was. From the barrels of money, to the similar RV, to the bucket of fried chicken, this video for ‘Dance Bitch‘ captures Breaking Bad in its entity.
Dance Bitch‘ is a great track with now a great fan made video to go along with it. Let us never say goodbye to Breaking Bad, because we are all gonna buy it when the final season comes out on DVD and ‘Dance Bitch‘.
