GDD™ favorite & burgeoning underground talent, Lonely Boy, has kept his momentum rolling strong through the first half of this year. His releases, like his Don’t You Think EP [Desert Hearts Records], I Like Disco EP [Futureboogie], his single, “Everything” [Armada Deep], and more, have been a pivotal force behind his recent success, and his buzzed about performances at Mixmag Lab LA, Camp Ego Trip’s Oasis In the Hourglass, and the Kitsuné 4th of July pool party serve to catalyze his organic rise to prominence.
As he moves into the second half of 2015, Lonely Boy brings us his most recent endeavor – this collaborative EP, High Maintenance, that he produced with his gifted friend, Giom, from across the pond. As a whole, this EP is a 3-track tech-house gem featuring “Am I Maintaining,” which we have the pleasure of premiering today, as well as London and LA mixes of “Devil’s Advocate.” Previously supported by the famed Lee Burridge, “Am I Maintaining” is four-on-the-floor heater that packs a serious low-end punch, and just a touch of disco for added personality. This is a stand out release from Lonely Boy & Giom, so check out this A-side and head over to Beatport to pick up the full release via Bunny Tiger Dubs.
