Disclosure announce full details of new album, Caracal

Full details of the second Disclosure album have been revealed.

As previously reported, Caracal is coming out via PMR Recordson September 25th. The record’s tracklist has now been confirmed, with The Weeknd, Miguel and Lorde joining the likes of Gregory Porter and Sam Smith as guests. “We feel like a band now, instead of just releasing tracks for the club,” says Howard Lawrence, one half of Disclosure alongside his brother Guy. “We wanted to really step out with a solid body of work and tour for two years. We’re very much an album band. With dance and electronica, your genre is defined by a BPM. As Disclosure we want to be known sonically, for our sound. We want to go through a variety of speeds and even genres and focus on mix and production.”

Tracklist
01. Nocturnal feat. The Weeknd
02. Omen feat. Sam Smith
03. Holding On feat. Gregory Porter
04. Hourglass feat. Lion Babe
05. Willing & Able feat. Kwabs
06. Magnets feat. Lorde
07. Jaded
08. Good Intentions feat. Miguel
09. Superego feat. Nao
10. Echoes
11. Masterpiece feat. Jordan Rakei
12. Molecules
13. Moving Mountains feat. Brendan Riley

Duke Dumont Due to Release New Single & EP

Chart topper, BRITs winner and Grammy nominee is aiming for the same heights he’s reached in the past with his brand new single ‘Ocean Drive’, which will soon be released on Virgin EMI.

‘Ocean Drive’ will be joined by ‘Won’t Look Back’ – the huge hit that took Dumont to number two in the charts – on his new EP entitled ‘Blasé Boys Club Part 1′ which will be released on October 2.

The EP will also coincide with an upcoming American tour, and headline slot at KOKO in London on 30 September.

Listen to a Bonus Track From the Chemical Brothers Album

As their eighth album’s on course for number one, a bonus track from ‘Born In The Echoes’ has surfaced.

Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons uploaded ‘Wo Ha’ to YouTube yesterday and what we’ve got is a bass-heavy creeper, laced with wispy, infectious synths that result in over four minutes of spooky atmospherics.

It’ll appear on the deluxe edition of the album which features Q-Tip and follows last month’s statement that EDM’s “a mad old world”.

Also, can you believe it’s been 20 years since their debut LP, ‘Exit Planet Dust’? Check out what we said about that and a load of other belters from 1995 here.

Listen to ‘Wo Ha’ above.

Tim Gunter Reveals New Remix of Matthew Koma’s Debut Single

On the heels of his uplifting remix of Mario’s “Let Me Love You,” Red Bull Thre3style U Champion, Tim Gunter, unveils his chilled rework of Matthew Koma’s debut single “So Fuckin’ Romantic.”

“I had the pleasure of remixing Matthew Koma’s new single “SFR.” He sent me the record a few weeks back and asked me to do my thing. I felt serious vibes from the original so I wanted to make something that was easy listening, but also knocked. The result is this chill remix perfect for staying cool this summer. Excited to release more new music this summer.” – Tim Gunter

Matthew Koma’s debut single demonstrates the realization of his signature style and showcases his multifaceted talents. “So Fuckin’ Romantic” is the next step in the evolution of Koma’s defining sound: he pairs playful verses and infectious metaphor driven choruses with deep driving anthemic rhythms.

Tim Gunter puts an amazing spin on the original with fun pop synths, rattlesnake high hats and chilled out futuristic bass.

Eau Claire Releases Remix of Midnight Pool Party’s “Disease”

2015 has been a breakout year for Eau Claire following recent performances in Mexico and the USA including her debut festival appearance Firefly Music Festival in June.  A few weeks ago she released her remix of Saint Motel’s ‘My Type’ that reached the # 1 most popular remixed song on Hype Machine and was released via Elektra Records. The Washington, DC based producer and DJ shows no sign of slowing down here with a brand new remix for disco and funk duo Midnight Pool Party.  Bringing in some new elements to her production, Eau Claire adds a vocoder layer to the house flavored track while infusing her signature groovy piano chord progression.  Her skills go beyond catchy chord progressions though as she masterfully layers in an addictive synth lead and bassline leaving her listeners itching for more.
