Superstar Canadian DJ Deadmau5 is slamming fellow globetrotting EDM artist David Guetta for bringing live horses on stage at a massive event in Ibiza, Spain.
Guetta was launching his "F**k Me I'm Famous" residency at Pacha Ibiza, and brought live horses onto the blaring stage, along with dancers in Native American headdresses.
(This week, Montreal's Osheaga music festival banned both fans and artists from wearing First Nations-style headdresses.)
"For real... horses belong on a farm, not in a shitty overpriced nightclub to be subjected to a shitty overpaid DJ," wrote Deadmau5 in one of a series of tweets, which you can read below. (Warning: the tweets contain offensive language.)
The move has also drawn ire from animal advocates as well as the general public.
As one YouTube commenter put it, "'Horses are known for their love of loud music, flashing lights, crowds, and Coldplay,' says no person ever.”
