Project 46 Release Their Official Remix Of Krewella & Headhunterz ‘United Kids of The World’ Posted: 13 Dec 2013 01:01 PM PST Bullying in today’s culture is such a massive epidemic. People witness it, but say or do nothing about it. As someone who grew up with the constant threat of verbal abuse from other kids, I know the pain that the youth of our generation goes through. But when Headhunterz teamed up with Krewella to create the track ‘United Kids of the World‘, it became an anthem for those who have to suffer through those pains. Not only is it a song to help combat it, but it should ring through and help prevent it. Today, rising progressive superstars Project 46 have released their remix of ‘United Kids of the World‘. Having recently been on the first leg of the tour for Morgan Page’s 3D Tour, and having their release with Kaskade on the track ‘Last Chance‘, Project 46 has a lot of clout floating around them. So when getting asked to remix a song with such an important message behind it, the pressure must have been on. But they came out and succeeded. The duo stripped the song to the bare minimum, the lyrics, which hold the true message. Project 46 slowly builds up the song by having the vocals perfectly layered and slowly building in the synth melodies and energetic beats. All of this leads into Project 46 bring in the big room anthem progression which Project 46 teased back during their set at TomorrowWorld. Loadstar Remixes Their Own Track ‘Losing You’ As Part Of Upcoming Future Perfect Remix EP Posted: 13 Dec 2013 12:46 PM PST Earlier this year, UK drum & bass lords Loadstar released one of the most, high fidelity D&B records with their album Future Perfect. That album gained so much publicity, that Loadstar was asked to play at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, and the group created one of the most intense Essential Mixes of the year. Now, set for release on December 16th, Loadstar is prepping to launch their Future Perfect Remix EP. The Future Perfect Remix EP will include reworks from the likes of DC Breaks, Frankee and Rene Lavice. But today, we have a special remix to preview to you. This one is from Loadstar themselves and is of one of the albums most popular tracks ‘Losing You‘. For this remix, Loadstar amplifies the track 10-fold with the absolute onslaught of drums and drawn-out distorted bass lines. Grab Your Somberos As Electric Daisy Carnival Heads Down To Mexico Posted: 13 Dec 2013 11:47 AM PST Electric Daisy Carnival is the biggest music festival in the US. Originally started in Los Angeles in 1996 in abandoned warehouses, EDC has since grown to being the premiere music festival with shows last year in Las Vegas, Orlando, New York, London, Chicago and Puerto Rico. While it was hinted that Electric Daisy Carnival would be coming to Texas, it seems that Insomniac Events is going to be heading a little further South in 2014. On March 15th & 16th, Electric Daisy Carnival will be heading to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez racetrack in Mexico City, Mexico. For EDC Mexico, Insomniac Events will be partnering with OCESA. As one of the world’s leading influential promoters, OCESA has been praised for introducing major productions to the Mexican market including booking, promoting and producing diverse international artists such as U2, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney and many more. OCESA has also worked with numerous artists in the dance music scene including Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, Calvin Harris and deadmau5, among others. After the success of our first international endeavor this summer with EDC London, fans from around the world expressed an interest in experiencing EDC in their home towns. We listened, and we're excited to announce EDC Mexico City. The fans have been so passionate about their desire for a festival there and I'm really looking forward to joining them next March when we will all celebrate music, art and life. Insomniac and our partners are working hard to plan an event that will be the truly unique and creative festival experience that fans look forward to. Early bird tickets will go on sale Tuesday, December 17 at 11 a.m. CST at www.ticketmaster.com.mx. Two-day passes will start at $100 for general admission and $276.92 for VIP tickets for those 18 and over, in addition to service fees. A full musical lineup and additional details will be announced in the near future.
