Ahead of the ninth instalment in the annual Worldwide Awards at Koko, we will be shedding light on the artists performing through a series of questions. Here we have for you, Swindle.
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself please. Who are you, where are you from etc.? I'm Swindle, from London. I love keyboards, music and sharing them with the world. All I want to spend my time doing is to share my music with people. Earlier this year I released my first album: Long Live The Jazz on deep Medi. How would you describe your music? My music is a reflection of my life and all the different styles that have passed my ears over the years. Whom do you count amongst your most significant influences when it comes to production? Quincy Jones because his music explores different textures, I love the way he explores brass and layered vocals and fused the best of current times and his own influences to create something completely unique. If you could give a musical award of the year, what would it be and for whom?
