 I still remember waking up Christmas Day 7 years ago after donning a James Brown t shirt only to be told he passed away earlier that morning. Definitely surreal, but it cemented an association forever with James Brown and Dec 25. I’ve heard about those who pass and wish their death to be celebrated not mourned and I imagine James would be one of those people.  Like many, DJ Mr Lob was a fan since he heard Porter’s incendiary 1960 What. Inspired by his style he has set on a path to turn others on to Gregory’s gems.
