The Front Bottoms - Talon of the Hawk
Artist: The Front Bottoms
Release: Talon of the Hawk
Label: Bar None Records
Release Date: June 2013
Picked by: James Farrelly – Trade Marketing Manager

There must be something in the New Jersey water that contributes to its history of great punk bands (Saves The Day, Gaslight Anthem, Bouncing Souls) – and The Front Bottoms show there's no sign of that slowing. After supporting The Menzingers at an incredibly hot and sweaty sold out show at London's Borderline, the band are now selling out their own shows with ease, and the latest UK shows showcased their latest album in perfect fashion. Talon of the Hawk is an incredible love letter to being young and the punk scene in general, and is best heard in a room full of friends singing along to every word. – James Farrelly

Evan Arch - Embers

Artist: Evan Arch
Release: Embers
Label: Tip Top Recordings
Genre: Dance – Beats & Breaks / Electronica

Addictive debut single from teenage US producer wunderkind Evan Arch. Just 17 Arch has produced an uplifting synth track that recalls College’s ‘Real Hero’ period. 'Embers' is the debut single from Arch under his own name. The track is an optimistic and innocent synth-driven piece of instrumental subtlety that leaves space for the imagination to run wild. Having graduated from Canyon High this year, Arch launches his solo career via Tip Top Recordings (Forest, Blue On Blue, GHXST) whilst producing remixes under both the Evan Arch and Swords 4 Salem monikers.
