Nicky Romero Lends His Talent For Remix Of Zedd’s ‘Stay The Night’ Posted: 19 Oct 2013 12:40 PM PDT We have already heard an electro house remix from Tiesto, and a harder, grittier version from DJ Snake. Zedd’s new single ‘Stay The Night‘ has featured some of the biggest names in music lending their musical expertise to remix this track. Now, another super star has taken the track and done something completely different with it. Nicky Romero stepped up and offered an unique remix for ‘Stay The Night‘. In just this 2 minute preview, it is difficult to see why he went the route that he did with this remix. In the beginning he completely lets a piano progression move the song along with the vocals from Hayley Williams. Nicky Romero then has the drum kick slowly build up the rest of the track until it drops into a very electronica melody. After that the track just falls flat. Nicky Romero’s electronica sound that he did for this remix fells very lifeless and uninviting. As a big supporter of Nicky Romero and his music, this remix is very disappointing. We know there could have been more. Check it out for yourself and tell us what you think. Nicky Romero’s remix of ‘Stay The Night‘ will be released November 5th on Interscope Records.
