When Pusha-T is on, his flow has been described by many as sickening—and that's not only because his signature adlib sounds like someone barfing. As we saw on cuts like "Numbers on the Board", the days of Pusha's pop-pondering hesitation have retreated for the likes of something approximating Clipse-era Push, which is probably the person Kanye West thought he was signing. ("Everything is Pusha T... This nigga the heart of the muthafucking culture for you culture vultures." West recently screamed.)
"Nosetalgia", a track which features Kendrick Lamar on his "oh-why-the-hell-not-add-another-800-meters-to-my-"Control"-victory-lap", is pure gurney music, where Pusha's ferocious flow daggers the airy, percussive production. "Wanna see a dead body?" enters Kenny from South Park Kendrick, whose verse complements the whole grotesquerie of "Nosetalgia", a track that serves to remind that, when you think about it, Hell Hath No Fury wasn't that long ago.
