Tone Of Arc Announces New Album on Om Records; Stream Lead Single Now
Tone Of Arc make its Om Records debut with “The Best Place to Fall,” the lead single from the duo’s upcoming full length, ‘Urgent Turquoise’—which will see release in the fall.
Rooted in Tone Of Arc’s signature punk funk style, “The Best Place to Fall” is a beautiful slice of dub-infused electronics, complete with Derrick Boyd’s famous, crooning vocals and the pair’s infectious vibes. The single also lands with a cover of Spandau Ballet’s “Chant No. 1″ on the b-side, capping off a brilliant debut single for Om records.
You can stream both sides of the single in full below.

Pampa lines up new EP from Isolée
The next release on DJ Koze‘s Pampa label comes from Isolée.
Isolée, AKA minimal house producer Rajko Müller, will release the two-track Floripa 12-inch on September 11th. In keeping with recent records on Pampa from DJ Koze (XTC), Robag Wruhme (Cybekks) and Axel Boman (1979), Floripa is deep and catchy. The label says the title track is built around a “thick and dub-drenched bassline” that soon unfolds into “spatial sound wizardry with shimmering cosmic riffs.” It’ll be Müller’s fourth appearance on Pampa, following a spot on a split 12-inch with Robag Wruhme in 2010, as well as his 2011 solo album Well Spent Youth and 2013 EP Allowance.
Tracklist
01. Floripa
02. Favouride
Pampa will release Floripa on September 11th, 2015.

After dropping his original, “Fascination” featuring Aela Kae, Sebastian Carter quickly returns with his own rendition of Autograf’s smash, “Dream.” This young, house specialist has turned the future forward single into a lush deep soundscape with a warm and steady bassline, a classy touch of melodic synths, and ethereal vocals that lay the foundation for a track that builds perfectly for both the club and beach-side atmosphere. Listen above and download it here. Stay tuned for more “Dream” remixes to come!
SFX fails in bid to go private
Robert Sillerman’s plan to take SFX private has fallen through.
The EDM promoter, which owns Beatport and several other dance music-focused companies including React Presents, Made Event and i-Motion has been restructuring with a view to chairman and CEO Sillerman buying the company. Now, asBillboard report, Sillerman’s offer of $5.25 per share became untenable as SFX’s stock dropped 20% to $1.55 per share. The company has since released a statement saying it is exploring “strategic alternatives” in regards to its future. The statement added that the company would consider offers on the company until October 2nd.
