House music champion Jesse Rose has unleashed his first single of the year (after releasing a full length album + remix album back in February and March), and in true-to-form fashion its a very cheeky and catchy tune – this time an ode to the honorable French house scene. Out now on his label Play It Down, “Fly Tonight” is filter house in its unadulterated glory, its charm and melodies happily bonded with a stomping bassline and drums. The song, along with the super-filtered lyrics, are quite simple in their intent: let go and have fun.
“Fly Tonight” along with a dub version are available now on Beatport, everywhere digitally July 21, and on a very limited vinyl I’m sure you’re going to get your hands on if you’re an in-the-know collector of French house records. If you know, you know…
