      kove
Last year, UK-based drum & bass producer Kove claimed the drum & bass charts with his smooth, epic roller "Searching." Since then, we've had a few updates from the producer with his most recent being the melodic ride, "Way We Are" featuring some fetching vocals from chanteuse Melissa Steel. His popularity has gained him regular rotation on radio and appearances from Ibiza to the US and throughout Europe. Recently, we got the chance to catch up with him and get a fresh tip sheet of his current club favorites.

      robert-hood
During his recent Movement 2014 set, Detroit techno pioneer Robert Hood, 49, did something unexpected. He had a bit of family fun during his Underground stage set by letting his 18-year-old daughter Lyric (who wants to be a DJ) play a few tunes including Martin Garrix's "Animals." Unexpected sure. But it simply shows that Hood is all heart, all family — and doesn't care much what pundits or techno purists think about his music. And you've got to respect a guy who's always followed his own path. In a new feature-length interview with Resident Advisor, the techno icon talks about faith, music, and the Motor City.
