Seattle-based musician/producer/rapper Tay Sean is ready to make a name for himself. After working with notable acts such as Shabazz Palaces, THEESatisfaction as well being a part of the collective Cloud Nice, Tay has put together an album to be released on September 20th called Leavings, via HomeSkillet Records (pre-order).
Tay Sean describes the album as sonic hypnagogia, with lyrics oscillating between the lucid and the literal over a bed of moon-bathed melodies and unorthodox rhythms. Today, check out the first single from the upcoming album for the track entitled "Um Tryin" which features JusMoni on vocals.  |

Da Dreak & Rahzil Blackwell – Celebration

From W.A.R. Media, a touted label featuring talents such as Pharoahe Monch and Jean Grae somes a release from Da Dreak & RahZil Blackwell called Love-N-Drugs. The album is slated to drop August 12th and today, we have the second single celebrating positivity in the form of life, friends and family.
