Co-founders of the label MoFunk Records, XL Middleton and Eddy Funkster join forces for their self-titled album which is available today Friday, August 12th. Their collaborative album is long overdue and draws heavily from LA's musical well over the last several generations, bringing forth hard electro funk styles, G-Funk, P-Funk and modern soul together, helping to celebrate the past while keeping the music relevant for a new generation.

Da Dreak & Rahzil Blackwell’s ‘Love-N-Drugs’ Album Stream

Da Dreak and Rahzil Blackwell's collaborative album Love-N-Drugs will be released tomorrow Friday, August 12th (pre-order) and today we are happy to share the full album stream one day prior to the official release. Da Dreak handles all production for the album while Rahzil Blackwell is the featured singer who beautifully narrates across Dreak's production. The album offers the story of a romantic struggle between relationship independence and co-dependence, while reminding listeners that even through the ups and downs of the drug we call love, life is always something to celebrate.
