Pete Rock mix for Nas’ Time is Illmatic
Legendary producer Pete Rock has put this mix together to support Tribeca Film’s documentary Nas: Time is Illmatic. Full of classic tracks, shout-outs, co-signs and intricate blends. Well worth a listen.

Watch: Kendrick Lamar – i
The big news just keeps on coming today.
The official video for Kendrick Lamar‘s uplifting new single, i, has just dropped. As with the song’s production, the video has a decidedly Latin flavour to it, with street parties and communal dancing the order of the day.
Watch it below and read our interview with K-Dot here.

Listen: Wiley – Snakes & Ladders
Wiley‘s new album Snakes & Ladders is now streaming over on Spotify.
Including the big comeback single On A Level, it signals a return to form and a return to Big Dada for the grime godfather after a brief dalliance in the mainstream with the Warner-funded The Ascent.
To coincide with the launch of the album, there’s even a snakes and ladders online game over on Big Dada’s website. Genius.
Listen here, JME and Cam’ron are among the guests.

Listen: Wu-Tang Clan – Ruckus In B Minor
Happy Tuesday everyone.
Posse cut Ruckus In B Minor is the latest piece of the jigsaw to be added to Wu-Tang Clan‘s eagerly awaited forthcoming album A Better Tomorrow, following on from Keep Watch and Ron O'Neal.
As you can probably tell from the track’s title, it is unapologetically old school, with production from RZA and Rick Rubin and Method Man, U-God, Cappadonna, Ghostface, GZA and RZA all featuring (as well as as special cameo from ODB).
Listen in below – A Better Tomorrow is released on December 2.

Introducing: Jelani Blackman
As our coverage of bright young things from London’s hotbed of creative talent continues unabated, so we present to you Jelani Blackman.
Sitting somewhere between the world weary baritone of Kwabs and the feisty bars of King Krule with Jai Paul-esque production to boot, the one and only track that currently sits on his SoundCloud, Twenty//Three, neatly encapsulates the transient existence of a young man in London – simultaneously bleeding with melancholy and beauty, bearing semblance to perhaps the definitive London producer, Burial.
Blackman will be performing alongside turan and OthaSoul at The Old Blue Last on Friday November 14. More info here.
