      The Rivera Project Young Folks
Everyone knows the name of Robbie Rivera. A legend in the dance music scene, he has been one of the premiere DJs and producers in the scene for over a century. His Juicy Music label has released tracks from some of the biggest names in the scene, and Robbie Rivera’s live shows are something that has to be witnessed. Robbie Rivera most recently helped bring in the New Years in Los Angeles at I Heart NYE. Now, Robbie has teamed up with one of Florida’s and the dance music scene’s rising talent to create a remix that will become an instant showstopper.
After killing it with a B2B set at EDC Orlando with Crespo, Landis has brought his production talent to remix ‘Young Folks‘ with Robbie Rivera. ‘Young Folks’ is the smash hit from the band Peter, Bjorn and John, known for its charismatic guitars and whistling. Now Robbie Rivera and Landis have added a new twist to the track, featuring a big bass breakdown with a rhythm to get the party started and keep the momentum up the entire time. A perfect peak time track, Robbie Rivera and Landis have shown that they know how to amplify the energy of any track.
Robbie Rivera & Landis’ remix of ‘Young Folks‘ is out now.

      First State Take The Fall
We always support our good friend First State. Whenever there is a new mix up, or whenever he has a new track that is going to make a massive impact, we are always there to support. So when we got the email about the new track that he has coming out, we gave it a quick listen and realized we had to share this with everyone.
On January 20th, First State will be releasing his latest single ‘Take The Fall‘ on Magik Muzik. The track is a pure festival anthem with high layered synths, a beautiful drop that brings you into the song, and a catchy topline to help get the crowd involved. First State also called upon the amazing vocalist Relyk to lend a hand a masterfully weave her golden voice through the notes of this track.
Take The Fall‘ is different from all the other progressive songs out in the scene today, as First State is only able to do what most trance artists are able to do. Put emotion, feelings, and melodies into his work. He creates a real connection with the song that the fans are able to hear and point out. Get your copy of ‘Take The Fall‘ when it is released January 20th.

Yesterday, the #1 DJ in the world, Hardwell, released the brand new video for this track ‘Dare You‘. Originally teased during ADE, Hardwell teamed up with Shazam, with the YouTube clip for people to Shazam getting over 100,000 plays in just 24 hours. Now, the official video has already reached over 330,000 in just 24 hours. Featuring the always amazing vocals of Matthew Koma, Hardwell’s already popular festival anthem has a video, that doesn’t really have a meaning to it. It shows one guy running after his car died, another on his bike, and a girl skateboarding. All of this eventually leads up for footage from Hardwell’s performance at ADE, even though the rest of the video was shot in LA. But when you are listening to the song, who cares what you are watching, because you instantly feel like you are there.

      Rob Sillerman
I have a feeling that everyone in the world has a mortal enemy. Someone they are set to do battle with till the end of the time. Some people are lucky and never meet that person. Other people do. I have never met my foe in person, but I have seen his name and face all over the internet and each and every time it makes the skin crawl on the back of my neck. I of course, am talking about the man who will oversee the monopolization of the dance music scene, Rob Sillerman.
The head of SFX Entertainment, the company that is buying up every company even slightly associated with dance music, Rob Sillerman has today announced another partnership. This time, it is with Clear Channel Entertainment, the nation’s leading media company, with a larger reach that any other radio or TV company in the nation.
While Rob Sillerman didn’t buy the company (not yet at least), the partnership does she Sillerman bringing his project full-steam ahead. Rob Sillerman and his partnership with Clear Channel, will see a number of different projects come out of it. First off will be a nation wide DJ competition. DJs from all across the nation will compete for the chance to win a spot at the new Mysterland in New York, hosted by the Sillerman-owned ID&T. The winner will also signed to a record deal with Beatport and a major label.
SFX, Rob Sillerman and Clear Channel also announced the induction of the Beatport Top 20 countdown each week, highlighting the Top 20 songs on the Beatport Overall Chart. Sadly, all those songs sound exactly the same though. The Countdown show will be hosted on a number of Clear Channel radio stations across the country including Z100/WHTZ FM in New York; KIIS-FM in Los Angeles; 103.5 KISS-FM/WKSC in Chicago; WILD 94.9 FM/KYLD in San Francisco; 106.1 KISS-FM/KHKS in Dallas-Ft. Worth; Hot 99.5/WIHT-FM in Washington D.C.; Q102 Philly/WIOQ-FM in Philadelphia; Power 96.1/WWPW-FM in Atlanta; Evolution 101.7 Boston/WEDX-FM; Channel 95.5/WKQI-FM in Detroit; and Y100/WHYI-FM in Miami-Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood.
Robn Sillerman and SFX also announced an original live event series provides a framework for event creation in the electronic music space, specifically a national EMC event program focused around Halloween 2014.
Partnering with the clear leader in broadcast and digital radio is a key strategic relationship for SFX. The framework we have established with Clear Channel, whose stations include KIIS-FM and Z100, brings the electronic music category to a broader audience and delivers on what we believe the young music consumer wants today. It also allows us to amplify the promotion of DJ/Producers who are the life-blood of our industry. – Rob Sillerman
The demand for electronic music continues to increase across all of our platforms at Clear Channel. This strategic partnership with SFX will give our audiences access to a deeper selection of music content and live events. – John Sykes, Clear Channel's President of Entertainment Enterprises

JustGo is a revolutionary social media platform for the music and entertainment industry. They are able to seamlessly blend the published content onto all channels of social media, and then track those numbers to find out approximate growth and dynamic from all forms of social media. So JustGo took a look at the numbers from all the DJs in the DJ Top 100, using fan growth, piracy, numbers and more to analyze and figure out the true Top 100.
The results might be a little shocking. JustGo has published that while Hardwell would still be the #1 DJ, the rest of the Top 100 looks drastically different. Armin van Buuren would drop all the way to #18. Many artists who were on the Top 100 list this year, would not be featured, while many artists who weren’t on the list made it including Maya Jane Coles, The Bloody Beetroots, James Blake and more. JustGo predicted the rest of the Top 100 to feature Calvin Harris, Nicky Romero, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Avicii, Zedd, Afrojack, Knife Party, and Swedish House Mafia in the order.
There are some interesting results from JustGo. What do you all think about these numbers?
