"El productor Daniel Maloso" has put together a new podcast for El País. Responsible for 2012's "In And Out", here he crafted a 60-minute mixtape of dirty hooks and kinky looks. It features classic Cómeme cuts such as "Hijos de José" and "Ritmo Especial" mixed up with unreleased jams and alternated versions. Grab it here and listen below.

Unter dem diesjährigen Festival-Motto "alpha et omega" (lat. Anfang und Ende) lotet Kölns Ambientfestival Zivilisation der Liebe die musikalischen Sphären zwischen "Anfang und Ende" aus. In diesem Dazwischen wird kombiniert, komponiert und konfrontiert. Heute, den 23. Januar leitet Lubomyr "Franz Liszt der Moderne" Melnyk das viertägige Festival in der Basilika St. Aposteln in Köln ein. Die restlichen Abende werden von Haschka, Carlos Cipa, Samuli Kosminen, Rauelsson und dem Ambient-Künstler und Kompakt Liebling Bvdub bespielt. Letzterer steuerte zur Pop Ambient Compilation 2011 und 2012 bei.
The 2014 Ambientfestival will run from January 23th through 26th at Basilika St. Aposteln in Cologne situated within the modern electronic and contemporary classical music realms. The opening night tonight on January 23th will feature a performance of Canadian pianist and sound artist Lubomyr Melnyk. Melnyk will be joined by Julia Kent and Witxes. The following nights will see appearances by Haschka, Carlos Cipa, Samuli Kosminen, Rauelsson and American ambient artist and Kompakt favorite Bvdub who contributes to Pop Ambient 2012 and Pop Ambient 2011.   |
