Machinedrum and Jimmy Edgar - otherwise known as JETS - have reworked Midnight Star's 1986 disco-funk classic "Midas Touch" for Leisure System. The track, which debuted as the opening track on Machinedrums's Essential Mix late last year, is due to release later this month, on January 27th. The vinyl-only release features the original JETS version and a Machinedrum remix, both coming with Warp crooner Jamie Lidell on vocals. You can listen to Machinedrum's alternate version that smoothes out the soulful track for the dancefloor over at Pitchfork.
