Schoolboy Q announced 25 February as the date for his second album’s release via slightly unconventional means in December, and he has now shared Oxymoron‘s two album covers.
First up is the standard edition that shows an angelic child along the same lines as the artwork for Drake‘s recent Nothing Was The Same, whilst the second is altogether more sinister, a balaclava-clad Q along with his signature bucket hat which marks the deluxe edition. You can check the tracklist and pre-order Oxymoron over at iTunes and watch the video for his latest single Man Of The Year below. |

It’s a pretty inescapable fact that South London music scene is in the midst of a creative boom. Be it in hip-hop circles (Jesse James, Rainy Milo), electronica (Kwes, Rosie Lowe) or guitar music (King Krule, Jerkcurb), there appears to be exciting new artists popping up every which way you turn.
Capitalising on this new hotbed south of the river, All Saints have teamed up with Dazed to produce a short film as part of their New Music Cities series that shines a light on what it is about South London that breeds such a strong music scene. Interviewees include Roots Manuva, Katy B and Mount Kimbie. You can watch our edition of Bonafide TV with Roots Manuva here and check the film out below. |
