The release of the fifth studio album by Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings, was delayed last summer due to the small matter of the reigning queen of retro funk and soul having been diagnosed with cancer of the bile duct. “Give The People What They Want” will be out on January 14th on Daptone Records.
