As the title makes clear there is an abundance of afro-funk but the Beninese legends stay true to their name and deliver killer tunes in any number of rhythms and mutated styles. At times raw and psychedelic and in others locked into an irresistible groove, it is never less than attention grabbing. - Sam Telford
