Already having previewed his track ‘Last Chance‘ with Project 46 and ‘SFO To ORD‘ off of his new album, Atmosphere, Kaskade treats us to yet another teaser with the preview of ‘MIA To LAS‘. Like the other airport entitled track already previewed, Kaskade skips the drops and the bass, to instead focus on the beats and the rhythm creating an incredible house track. It creates anticipations and excitement for what style and production Kaskade has in store for us with Atmosphere. It seems to be an incredible mixture of melodic progressive and groovy house music. It is great to see someone standing away from the mainstream “epic” sound and doing something else. Just a few more days to wait, as Atmosphere drops on September 10th. Pre-order your copy today or go to the music section on a store (yes, they still do exist) and buy the physical copy. |

We are just days away from what is guaranteed to be one of the biggest festivals of the 2013 season. Electric Zoo begins on Friday, and already we have some big surprises in store for the fans in attendance. Guests will be able to witness the world record for the biggest twerk wall thanks to Diplo. Now fans will get to experience the sound of Dim Mak at one massive stage on Sunday. The Dim Mak Up All Night Stage is guaranteed to be one of the biggest attractions at Electric Zoo. With artists like Chase & Status, Yolanda Be Cool, Angger Dimas, Keys N Krates, along with a special announced guest, fans will be in for a treat this upcoming weekend. As an added bonus, Steve Aoki has put together a little Dim Mak Electric Zoo mix, featuring tracks from some of the artists in attendance. You can download that mix right here. As an even bigger announcement, Steve Aoki has also announced his Aokify America Tour. While cities and dates for the tour will be announced next week, what we do know is who will be joining him on the road. Aokify America will feature Steve Aoki, Wakka Flakka Flame, Borgore, and special guest Pharrell. With this unique combination, it will be fun to see what surprises this tour has in store. |

Mark Knight doesn’t put out to many live mixes, so we really need to hunt for them. This one was from a couple months back, but we are fiending so bad for off the mainstream house music that it’s still damn good. Taken from Glow Radio’s podcast this set is 2 hours of amazing house music. Plug in and get on this!

It has been quite a year for Mat Zo. The man had his chart topping track ‘Easy‘ hit #1 on Beatport and became one of the biggest tracks of 2013. He then teamed up with hip-hop icon Chuck D on the track ‘Pyramid Scheme‘. He also had to deal with will.i.am stealing his track, as well as getting his very own radio show on SiriusXM. Now the man is set to create a bigger splash with the announcement of his debut album. Today, Mat Zo announced his brand new, artist album Damage Control, set to be released later this year. Set to be released on Anjunabeats and Astralwerks, the only thing that we can confirm is that the album will be named Damage Control. There is no release date for the album yet and no tracklisting. We can also confirm that Mat Zo will be doing a world tour in support of the album, including a North American bus tour. Check out the artwork for Damage Control and listen to a little sneak peak of the album below. Listen Here |

We have been listening to Chris Lake for a long while now. And this guy can create some pretty amazing mixes. That is why we had to get our hands on his podcast when we found out he had one. In this episode, Chris brings us his live mix from when he played at Amnesia Ibiza. We’re not sure of the date, but honestly this mix is so sick we don’t care.

It’s been a while since we heard from our good friend Fareoh. Man has been keeping himself busy with a lot of studio work and a constant tour schedule. But we missed him, because we hadn’t heard any music from the man in a while. Now, that is all about to change. When Fareoh enters a room, everyone notices. That is exactly what he did with his latest remix for Cash Cash’s track ‘Take Me Home‘. Music now a days is all about the drop, the bass, and that big epic sound. Fareoh doesn’t conform to any of that and creates a track that is absolutely amazing. It is impossible to say what is best about this song. It could be the big room progressive synths, or the top line that get stuck inside of your head after only one listen, or it could be the way that Fareoh paired the powerful, yet sweet vocals with a powerful, yet earnest production. Everything on the this track just screams instant hit. A new favorite for us at Mixjunkies, we couldn’t be prouder of Fareoh. ‘Take Me Home‘ is out now on Beatport off Big Beat Records. Tritonal have wowed fans around the world with their musical production and charisma ever since they released Piercing The Quiet. Instantly, they became favorites of fans and DJs alike. Earlier this year, the Texas duo released part 1 of their epic 3 part Metamorphic EP series. Now, it is safe to say that part 2 is ready to come at you in a way that you would never expect. Metamorphic II contains 3 brand new productions from Tritonal – ‘Follow Me Home‘ featuring Underdown, ‘Now or Never‘ featuring Phoebe Ryan, ‘Electric Glow‘ featuring Skyler Stonestreet. The first release off of the brand new EP will be ‘Follow Me Home‘ featuring Underdown. You might remember the vocalist from part 1 of the EP as he was featured in 2 of the releases on that including ‘Bullet That Saved Me‘. ‘Follow Me Home‘ is a big room, electro house track that Tritonal is going to use to cross genres and merge fans with their new progressive/trance sound. ‘Follow Me Home‘ will be out on Beatport exclusively September 24th, with ‘Now or Never‘ being released October 28th and the full Metamorphic II being released on November 25th. |
