It was just a couple weeks ago that ARTY released his brand new big room, melodic progressive house track ‘Grand Finale‘ featuring Fiora. It was an incredible piece of work that wowed us through the speakers for us here at Mixjunkies. It rivaled anything that was out in the mainstream market, and we applauded ARTY for sticking with with what he knows and creating such a beautiful track. Now, one of the dance music scenes rising stars, Arston, got his hands on the track and has given his own unique spin on it. The Arston ‘Grand Finale‘ remix features a mixture of rising synths, low basses, and a progression of jungle beat drums that get your body moving to the rhythm of the beat. Completely different and original from ARTY’s version of this track, Arston has created something special for people to enjoy and listen to. When this remix is blasted through speakers of clubs around the world, it is certified to get people dancing. Get the Arston remix of ‘Grand Finale‘ out today. Buy Track Here |

Mixmash is one of the most prominent labels in the dance music scene. Founded by world famous DJ/Producer Laidback Luke in 2004, Mixmash has released some of the biggest tracks to date from some of the biggest artists on the planet. With the hype surrounding Mixmash bigger than it has ever been, the label is putting together a showcase tour with two of their brightest young stars, traveling across North America.
Teaming up for the Mixmash Fall North American Tour will be the incredible talents of Sandro Silva and Oliver Twitz. Sandro Silva first started making music when he was 15, and has since been on a force to be reckoned with. He got his first release on Mixmash with his track ‘Prom Night‘, followed up with his collaboration with tour mate Oliver Twitz, ‘Gladiator‘. Oliver Twitz burst out onto the scene with his genre blending style of urban hip-hop and house music. Often referred to at times as ghetto house, Oliver Twitz has created a style all his own, melting hip-hop vocals with urban drum loops, while holding steady at 130 BPM. His tracks ‘Let Me See You Do It‘ and ‘3Chains‘ show the versatility of Oliver Twitz and why he is one of the biggest growing talents in the dance music scene. The Mixmash North American Fall Tour will kick off September 19th at The Mid in Chicago, IL, and continue traveling all across North America. They will hit major festivals like Beyond Wonderland Bay Area and TomorrowWorld, before wrapping up the tour on October 12th in Toronto. This will be one fall tour you do not want to miss. Get your tickets today. |

Arctic Moon is arguably one of the best producers in the 138 trance scene at the moment. His rhythms, melodies, and pounding beats have helped distinguished him from the rest of his peers. Out now, Arctic Moon has released one of his biggest tracks to date. Teaming up with the ingenious mind of Paul Webster, the pair have created their brand new track ‘Valhalla‘. An insatiable piece of work, ‘Valhalla‘ is a work that defines what trance is and will be all wrapped up into one incredible production. Setting the bar high for everyone else, Arctic Moon and Paul Webster open up ‘Valhalla‘ with a harder, darker, bass drum pounding introduction as the synths rhythm along, before bellowing into a beautiful progression of strings with no hard beats at all. ‘Valhalla‘ showcases both the harder style and the more melodic style of trance music that people love to enjoy. ‘Valhalla‘ is set to become a trance track that people will remember for years to come, so get your copy today. ‘Valhalla‘ is available for purchase on Beatport off of Future Sound of Egypt. Daft Punk is still the hottest group on the face of the planet at the moment. With their album Random Access Memories, their first studio album in 8 years, Daft Punk brought about a new face in dance music. They completely revamped their image as well. Losing the leather motorcycle glasses, the duo of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, instead switched to a more classy style of suits that glisten, and that are made by Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent. Recently, Daft Punk teamed up with CR Fashion Book to do a photo shoot wearing their one-of-a-kind outfits. The pair was also joined by a rather famous face, Milla Jovovich. Milla is know for her incredible roles in the Resident Evil series along with The Fifth Element. Check out the photos from the shoot above with photo credit going to Mathieu César and editing going to Michaela Dosamantes. This album is about technology going toward humanity, in a world where humanity is going towards technology. We tried to capture robotic emotions with music, replacing this time our electronic machines by real human beings. After having made three albums, we were looking for a fourth album we had not yet done. We've been making music as Daft Punk for 20 years, and we are always trying to feel like beginners. Going in a studio for the first time felt exciting because it was something new. With Random Access Memories, we ultimately decided we wanted to do a record we could not have done at home. – Daft Punk |
