In a Video that is quickly spreading like wild fire, here is a video on the #1 grossing DJ in the world Calvin Harris reacting to a patron calling him a sell out. Calvin Harris stops the music to have quite the conversation with her. He tells her, “Why do you come to a fucking Calvin Harris show where Calvin Harris is DJing and don’t want to hear a fucking Calvin Harris record you DUMB FUCKING BITCH.” Absolutely EPIC! If you don’t want to hear Calvin Harris play one of his own tracks, go somewhere else. Taken at LIV Miami, the person who recorded the video said that after the girls was gone, “he got defeated. It happened not even a half hour into his set, so for the rest of it, he barely moved around no expression or smile. [He] didnt speak in the mic or make eye contaact with anyone and im pretty sure he played a new vocal track and said nothing. Bitch killed his vibe.” Chin up Calvin. We got your back! Here is an image of Calvin Harris after the girl was escorted out of the club by the person who recorded the video of the whole incident. |

All week long, Kaskade has been previewing tracks off his new album Atmosphere. Already we have heard tracks ‘Last Chance‘ with Project 46, ‘SFO To ORD‘ and ‘MIA To LAS‘. Now we get another preview of the track ‘Feeling The Night‘. Featuring vocals from the lovely Becky Jean Williams, ‘Feeling The Night‘ is an upbeat, progressive house track. Featuring big powerful synths and a heavy drum kick, ‘Feeling The Night‘ will power this track to become one of the fan favorites on his album. Kaskade also made the announcement that on his Atmosphere US Tour, Amtrac and Late Night Alumni will be traveling with the superstar as support. While Amtrac is still a rising name in the dance music scene, he has done an official remix of Kaskade’s single ‘Atmoshpere‘ and has also shared the stage with the likes of Treasure Fingers, Tiesto, Audien and more. Of course, everyone knows Late Night Alumni. With Kaskade formerly being part of the group, the band still performs and travels enjoying loving support from fans. If you havent gotten your tickets to Kaskade’s Atmosphere Tour yet, we highly suggest you get on that. href=”www.kaskadeatmosphere.com”>Buy Tickets Here |

The Disco Fries. A name that just screams fun and excitement. That is exactly what you receive when you are at one of their performances or are banging one of their tracks through your speakers. Now you are about to do the same with their brand new track ‘Lose It‘.
Set for release on Cr2 Records on September 9th, ‘Lose It‘ is a great interpretation on music in the scene today, thanks to The Disco Fries. It combines elements of many different genres as well as sounds that not many people use today.
‘Lose It‘ opens up with a classic 8-bit melody that feels like you should be playing Zelda or Super Mario Bros. Then, the track slowly starts to build up with the addition of massive synths flowing in a hardstyle progression.
Your mind will ‘Lose It‘ when the drop hits and The Disco Fries bring in a massive dubstep bass drop with the glitches and the breaks overwhleming you into a state of mayhem. That is all before things really get into hardstyle when the 8-bit and synths come back in at a more progressed paced and just make you start jumping around, even if you are sitting in the seat of your chair.
As a followup to their last release ‘Open Your Eyes (Revelation)‘ which got support from the likes of Tiesto, Hardwell, and David Guetta, ‘Lose It‘ should have a much bigger impact for The Disco Fries.

If you guys don’t know GRiZ you need to pony up. This guy has gone from rags to riches, musically speaking in a short time frame. We are big believers it talent over artists that are made, and this guy has the talent. A classically trained Saxophone player who makes some sick electronic music that he classifies as “electro-soul or future funk”. GRiZ Smash the Funk is an amazing track and the first video from this amazign artist. This video is half track, half documentary with GRiZ telling a little bit of where he came from and the inspirations for his music. Bottom line his music is cool as shit and super unique. He’s been touring with Bassnectar and Pretty Lights which lends some inkling of his style. Watch the video and see for yourself, amazing stuff. We are definitely hooked.
He’s coming out with his sophomore LP “Rebel Era” which will be available September for free download via mynameisgriz.com.

I was just having a conversation last week with my good friend Tim Stark over at Stark PR about how music videos have lost a lot of meaning and the story behind it. Most videos this day & age are just shots from festivals, clubs, airports, and studios. There is nothing to differentiate from one video to another. But today, I had my words handed right back to me.
Eelke Kleijn is a producer who I have never heard until this music video, but I swear I am going to pay more attention to this guy. His newest track with Tres:Or is called ‘Stand Up‘. The track is already BBC’s Next Hype track, and there is reason to see why. This rising Dutch producer has captured the minds and imagination of the crowd with this music video.
With the backdrop being a beautiful island paradise, our protagonist takes us through a day of relaxation and a night of excitement, all while meeting that special someone to lay next to. Best thing is, it all happens again at the end of the video. It all comes together when the video ends with a quote from Richard Bach, “True love stories never have endings.”
Check out the video for the reggae/house infused track ‘Stand Up‘ from Eelke Kleijn feat Tres:Or and get your copy today on Beatport.
