Ableton opens its doors to the public for the first time, to host our Kompakt pop up store from August 31st through September 7th. Here we will combine forces for a week-long series of workshops, performances, and of course, shopping. Learn about the latest music technologies, production, and promotion, gain insights behind the scenes and discover hidden treasures, meet colleagues and partners, old and new friends, and hear some great music! On Saturday, August 31, Gerhard Behles (co-founder Ableton) and Wolfgang Voigt will present an exclusive public discussion in conversation with journalist Tobias Rapp, followed by an intimate in-store gig with The Field and Gregor Schwellenbach giving an exclusive talk on "Sound of Kompakt". Dauwd, hot on the heels of this year’s “Heat Vision” EP, shows us why he’s earned a reputation for his live shows with Ableton Push on Monday, Saturday 2. On September 7, the event week terminates with a closing party featuring Michael Mayer, Justus Köhncke and Coma and our "20 Years of Kompakt" Berghain bash. Check out the full program here.
