Bobby Womack tourmate and digitally soulful artist in his own right Kwes is set to release his debut album ilp. later this year (14 October). It comes after his impressive Meantime EP last year, and there’s a brand new track to come with the announcement, the sweeping and slightly delicate 36. Opening with skittish drums, grand piano and a balmy bassline, Kwes comes in with slightly touched up, honey-dipped vocals:

A$AP Ferg – Trap Lord LP Stream

Initially just a face in leader Rocky’s background, A$AP Ferg has in recent times become a truly exciting prospect from the New York rap crew, his voice and weird delivery switching a lot of people’s onto him. His debut album, Trap Lord, which is streaming here, is full of dark, sinister beats, which compliment Ferg’s crazy-man rap-sing style exceptionally well.
