Last time we saw LA-via-Harlem rapper Gita she was spraying bars over a delectable Darq E Freaker instrumental in the madcap Mardi Gras. Along with that track, a whole EP has been produced, Escaping The Dream World, and it’s as fiery as you’d expect. From the wealthy queenship of opener Kaviar, Yachts to the electric buzz of Let That it’s an impressive opener from someone we hope to hear a lot more of:

Yung Lean – Hurt

Yung Lean is the strange, emotional Swedish rapper who’s gained an unlikely following among the US’ underground rap scene, with Raider Klan members identifying themselves as fans. Part of a movement/ crew he dubs as Sad Boys, it’s all weepy, delicate beats and monotone spitting. You can download the latest release, Unknown Death 2002, here. It’s pretty mad/ great, get into it:
