Ahead of the ninth instalment in the annual Worldwide Awards at Koko, we will be shedding light on the artists performing through a series of questions. And here we have Odd Future’s very own Syd The Kyd on behalf of ’The Internet’. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself please. Who are you, where are you from etc.? I’m a 21 year old producer/mixing engineer/DJ from Los Angeles, CA. How would you describe your music? I would describe our music as easy listening for the neo-soul fan. We tend to experiment quite a bit but the vibe of our music is consistent. Whom do you count amongst your most significant influences when it comes to production? The Neptunes are my biggest musical inspirations.  If you could give a musical award of the year, what would it be and for whom? I would love to award Thundercat for his amazing production, songwriting, and consistency.
