Coffee Run by Damu The Fudgemunk is a revamped version of his Coffee Table instrumental from the Spare Time FreeP. “Damu gathered all of his original floppy diskettes and record the new LP, Spare Overtime, he discovered that two of the OG beats, fan favs Coffee & Randi, could not be recovered because the floppy disks they were created on had been demagnetized and no longer functioned. Coffee Run was done with the intention of flipping the samples in the fashion and feel of a candidate that would’ve been selected for “How it Should Sound”. That album in particular has taken on a life of it’s own and many people recognize Damu The Fudgemunk for that style. Coffee Run is a message to assure fans, he still does it best.

Japanese MC Chiba Chemist’s latest release, Rip Shit Riot features production from Ill Sugi and Budamunk! Honestly, Chiba could be spittin gibberish and it doesn’t matter because every beat is on point. Add the fact that this is a “name your own price” release and it’s a no-brainer that this should be added to your music cache. Grab it HERE

In case you didn’t enjoy the original Bossa version of Some Other Wonder (listen) or felt there was no way it could be improved upon, as a gift the Colman Brothers have released an acoustic version for the free free. Listen, enjoy and grab the download HERE

Modern Renaissance is the perfect title for Jeff Bernat’s sophomore album. It has the smooth, soul sound of the era that Dre and Vidal ruled in the early 2000s as part of A Touch of Jazz. Much of the album reminds me of what we would love to hear from Musiq Soulchild nowadays, but make no mistake, Jeff Bernat owns the album and this Korean Seoul brother is one to watch! Grab it HERE
