Poland's Tauron Nowa Musyka festival will take place in an abandoned coal-mine in Katowice, from September 12th through 15th this year. Typically a mix of electronic styles, Tauron headliners include Squarepusher, Jon Hopkins, Vladislav Delay and plenty more. The festival's eighth edition also includes a Kompakt showcase with Gregor Schwellenbach giving his festival debut playing "20 Jahre Kompakt" at the Wigwam Stage. He'll be joined by Matias Aguayo (performing with Chilean noise-duo Mostro), Coma, DJ Koze, Robag Wruhme and Sid le Rock, all playing at the Red Bull Music Academy Club Stage. A joint collaboration between Hideout Festival, The Warehouse Project and Field Day will present the highly anticipated Unknown Festival in Rovinj, Croatia for the first time this year from September 10th till 14th. The opening day of the festival comes with a sailing Kompakt special as Michael Mayer and DJ Koze will share the decks on one of the first boat parties at the festival.
