Grimmy beats are always welcomed here at Mixjunkies. And as we always say, we are out for the best of the best and the newest of the new… yea.. Anyway… we got hit up by Far East Movement about their new podcast on GRZZLY Radio every Tuesday which features new exciting music in different genres handpicked, mixed, and hosted by the guys themselves along with guest DJ sets. Awesome beats from what we’ve heard and we are totally down with the mixes. If you like deep dark dub, electro and just overall awesomeness, definitely check this out.

Bjorn Akesson came to us through a artist submission and we are glad he did. His music is elevating and definitly gets your adrenaline pumping. his style is mainly trance but he throws in a lot of other genres of music which makes his sets interesting and upbeat. He belnds all these different styles graciously and always keeps a smooth groove going. Listen up! Bjorn is an amazing artist, your gonna love this.

If you know anything about my musical stylings, you will know that I am not really impressed with this EPIC sound that is sweeping over every single artist in the music scene right now. The big crazy bass breaks with nothing else, and every single one of them sounding exactly alike. There is no creativity, originality, or passion. When music loses its luster, we all lose. Now, if you know me well at all, you would know that I have not been the biggest fan of the last couple Showtek productions. I felt like the guys lost their roots and had sold out. But now, Showtek has won me over completely with their brand new track. ‘Booyah‘ – while being a ridiculous title of song – is an incredible production that caught me off guard when I first heard it. ‘Booyah‘, featuring We Are Loud! & Sonny Wilson, is an incredible combination of progressive, reggae, drum & bass, hard style all rolled into one incredible production that is set to win the hearts of crowds all over the world. It has a pounding flat hardstyle-esque bass (just not at the blistering speed of hardstyle) with a topline that is too amazing to forget. With Tomorrowland already under way, the brother duo of Showtek is ready to set the crowd off with this track. ‘Booyah‘ by Showtek feat. We Are Loud! and Sonny Wilson will be available August 19 on Spinnin’ Records. |
