Just one mic, one piano and one man singing about the stuff of dreams – “my baby, she looked at me and smiled” and nightmares “last night I had a bad dream, that the world would end and it would be forever ending”. It’s floating around on flexidisc but is also streamable below – something beautiful and slow for a wet afternoon.

While he works on his debut LP, Black Acre Records have announced the next tracks from Manchester’s Fantastic Mr Fox. On Aug 8 the Bristol-born label will release straight-up house track ‘The Trap’ backed by the twisted, leaping beat of ‘Jackal Youth’. Samples of both songs are on his Soundcloud while you can now listen to the second track in full, below.
