St. Louis native Coultrain recently released his latest EP Side Effex of Make-Believe, along with his third single and standout song "The Reintroduction”. The music arrangement of the song is really beautiful, even down to the faint beatbox, as his Coultrain sings about a previous love in his life. The latest EP sees a continuation of his Seymour Liberty persona—which has made his way through four projects to date—and an "exploratory tale of the darker sides of romance." Side Effex "continues where last year's Jungle Mumbo Jumbo album left off, with our hero now falling for a murderous widow. The forbidden love affair leads Seymour through a path of agony and enlightenment alike.” Coultrain shared some words regarding the song below: “They say when a soul feels as though its vessel isn't moving in a way to allow it to grow out of its shell, it cooperates with the forces of nature in an unseen realm," contemplates singer-songwriter Coultrain. "She was the manifestation of that in this dimension. I fell, and saw everything anew. I'll never have or forget her. This is our story.”You can stream and purchase Coultrain’s Side Effex Of Make Believe; divided for love's sake EP below: |
