Exploring the beauty of "Decay", Phillip Sollmann aka Efdemin will release a new album for Dial this month. It'll be the Berlin producer's third album for Lawrence's label, following his self-titeled debut LP in 2007 and 2010′s "Chicago". "Decay" is described in a press release as the deeper side of techno, influenced by 90s techno culture (from early Cologne minimalism, M-plant and Axis to Terrence Dixon) as well as his love for drone music. For Electronic Beats, Philip Sherburne chats with Sollmann on the occasion of his new album. Read the interview here. Over at Inverted Audio you can see a video for one of the album's cuts, "Some Kind Of Up And Down", directed by Toby Cornish. Check out the whole feature here.
