It was not too long ago that Kaskade released his well-received remix of the classic track ‘Fly Me To The Moon‘ by Astrud Gilberto. The original version of this song was written in 1954 by Bart Howard. Over the years, it has seen many versions of it released, the most notable one being by Frank Sinatra in 1964. Kaskade put his remix skills to the test with this one for the album Verve Remixed: The First Ladies. With his version, he created a down-tempo house track that complimented the soothing vocals of Astrud Gilberto. Now, a music video has been released that reflects this timeless classic perfectly. The video for ‘Fly Me To The Moon‘ contains video images from old classic movies and TV shows, still in the original black and white format, while getting a sporadic dose of intense color. To see what we mean, watch the video for yourself and see why Kaskade was voted as the only 2 time Best DJ in America. |

The dynamic duo of GTA is quickly becoming one of the fastest rising duos in the dance music scene. Their Death to Genres series has caught the attention of fans all around the world. Currently, GTA is traveling all around the world touring with the one-and-only Rihanna. But while traveling with one of the biggest artists in the world, they still find some time to produce some incredible tracks, as evident by their brand new one ‘Yolohton‘. This track is the first of 3 releases set to come out on Calvin Harris’ Fly Eye Records till the end of the year. Having teamed up to create a devastating remix of Calvin’s track ‘Thinking About You‘, the man took notice and brought them on board for what is essentially their first original track since they produced ‘Turn It Up‘ with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. ‘Yolohton‘ just has so many thing going for it. First off, the name is just incredible and makes me laugh, so that is a win right there. But then when listening to the track, you understand why GTA has caught the attention of so many differnet people. The precise details in their production and their seamless blending of multiple sounds makes it just stand out above the rest. Throughout ‘Yolohton‘ you will reggae, moombahton, hip hop, dubstep, electro, all melded into on genre-defying, jaw-dropping track. Because GTA is so nice, you can get it now as a free download to add to your collection. Keep a Fly Eye out for these guys, as we are sure the future is looking brighter by the day. |
