Terranova will hit the road with a number of DJ performances scheduled throughout Europe and Asia over the coming months, starting with a show at Berlin's Weekend Club on Friday, October 18th where he's billed alongside Westbam. The two Berlin-based techno veterans will share the decks at the Proud Icons party along with Jonzon and more. From there, Terranova will play a further 9 dates that take him through to December, including two 20 Years Of Kompakt events at London's Fire and Vienna's Pratersauna. Check out the dates below.

A true vintage Speicher classic from 2003, Michael Mayer & Reinhard Voigt's "Unter Null" has also been one of the many highlights recomposed by Gregor Schwellenbach on his wide-ranging "Gregor Schwellenbach Spielt 20 Jahre Kompakt" release. While staying in Berlin for the Kompakt/Ableton Pop Up Store two weeks ago, the Cologne-based multi-instrumentalist jumped at the chance to perform a few pieces from his album live at Volksbühne Salon, among them "Unter Null" (watch the video here), Jonas Bering's "Melanie" and Jürgen Paape's "Triumph". (video with both performances here)... breathtakingly beautiful!

This Friday, September 20th, Munich's Rote Sonne will be hosting a mighty fine Kompakt line-up including Robag Wruhme, COMA live, Reinhard Voigt live (!) and Shumi. Sounds like a no-brainer if you ask us... this one's gonna be epic! More info here.

For the third installment of their techno mix series (still remember the lush vinyl-only mix by label head honcho Dirk Middeldorf and the equally great second episode from Arthur Oskan?) 200 Records invited the now Berlin-based dance music legend Jerome Sydenham behind their decks. Stay tuned for forthcoming episodes by Reference, Silicone Soul and many others. Listen and download right here.

You might have already heard it through the grapevine, but now it's more official than ever: a new album from The Field is going to be released by Kompakt on September 30th (preorder it here or there): "Cupid's Head" is the album's name and Time Out praises it as "more intense and focused than anything he's produced to date"... which is quite a feat, considering that the 2011 predecessor "Looping State Of Mind" was featured on virtually every "best albums" list known to man. "Cupid's Head" is Axel Willner's first album recorded solo since his debut "From Here We Go Sublime" and a powerful touch-up of his landmark hypnotism, but also a departure for new shores both personal and musical. Check out the free stream of the album's title track over at Time Out!
