Extended Brownswood fam Earnest Endeavours are back at Village Underground in London next Thursday 3rd October with another epic line-up following previous sold-out shows this year with Nosaj Thing, Mono/Poly, The Gaslamp Killer and Rustie. This time around they welcome Cashmere Cat for one of the Norwegian wunderkind's first London shows. His debut EP ‘Mirror Maru’ on Pelican Fly was picked up by Ed Banger, with the prodigal artist subsequently supported by LuckyMe. Lefto also picked him out as One To Watch back in January – check his Brownswood electr*c podcast – and he spun at this summer’s Worldwide Festival in Sete. Worth noting that you can cop a bunch of his edits on his Soundcloud for FREE. Word. Meanwhile, after his acclaimed ‘Kings & Them’ release on Tri Angle (and epic ‘Duga-3′ 20 minute composition for Record Store Day) Evian Christ broke out earlier this year producing the notorious ‘I'm In It’ on Kanye West's ‘Yeezus’. The night also sees Earnest Endeavours label mates Darkhouse Fam (currently putting the finishing touches to their forthcoming EP) join both LuckyMe founders The Blessings and EE founders Patchwork Pirates (Alex Patchwork represent!!!). As at all EE events this year, the night opens with the music-inspired, future film and video screening series Screen Tests (past directors include Kahlil Joseph, Aerosyn-Lex, Clap Clap Club and Studio Remote) whilst the infamous Hit+Run screen-print crew will be working with the artists involved to create exclusive tees available throughout the night.
