Just one day after Wet Electric won its right to continue with the festival as planned, Wet Electric has been denied its alcohol permit. Yesterday, Judge Jamoa A. Moberly ruled in favor of the festival promoters to continue with the event. City leaders had filed a restraining order against the festival, citing it violated noise ordinances. This was obviously just a plow to get the festival cancelled in fear of a repeat of what happened July 28th. On this day, riots and looting occurred in Huntington Beach, CA during the U.S. Open of Surfing. But now with 10,000 people set to descend upon Huntington Beach tomorrow for Wet Electric, it has since been reported by ABC 7 News that the festival’s alcohol permit has since been denied. On the description on the Wet Electric, it is said, “concertgoers can enjoy performances by 12 DJs, water slides, zip lines, and alcohol.” With acts like Paul Oakenfold, Erick Morillo, Robbie Rivera and Nadi Ali set to perform at the festival, we can see if this will deprive anyone of showing up. THIS JUST IN: Wet Electric music festival in Huntington Beach denied alcohol permit for Saturday. Event to continue as planned. |

ATB has been one of our favorite Trance DJs since we started listening to electronic music. His music is unique and always puts a huge smile on our face. He does a great job of keeping all his mixes tied up tight so we don’t get many live sets on the site but when we do, they are amazing. This October he is touring the US and has some amazing shows lined up. With a new upcoming album in the works this show is staged to be an epic performance by this trance legend. Not to mention Insomniac, the geniuses behind Electric Daisy Carnival among many other EDM events is running the tour so you know this is going to be epic. ATB IN CONCERT is more than just a simple DJ show. It's a whole live concept implemented by a tour crew of 30 people combined with Insomniac's unparalleled production. A complete evening, which is guaranteed to be an exceptional show unlike any ATB show before.ATB has 4 shows lined up in some amazing locations. Check out the locations and ticket information below. Dream Valley Festival is in it’s second year, and it shows no signs of slowing down. Slowly becoming Brazil’s premiere music festival, this year’s lineup sees the likes of Kaskade, NERVO, Zedd, W&W, Steve Angello, Loco, Dice, Mario Fischetti and more taking the stage. Now Dream Valley Festival has released the official trailer for this year’s installment. Taking place November 15th & 16th, prepare to be transported to a magical world, unlike anything you have ever seen. This year, Dream Valley Festival paired up with top Brazilian DJ Marcelo CIC to produce to the festival anthem ‘Keep Running‘. Teaming up with vocalist Benjamin K, Marcelo CIC made ‘Keep Running‘ a banging festival track. Combining big room synths with an incredible electro house drop. We always try to take the time to let you know what you’re in for with a mix but sometimes we’ve just got nothing left in the tank to say at the moment, kinda like right now. So you’ll notice me rabble a bit and stretch this intro out but that doesn’t change the fact that this mix is a good one. You know Cedric Gervais from his smash hit ‘Molly’ so we don’t really need to gush about him or his mix too much. It’s clear we enjoyed it and so will you. So enough stalling even though this is pretty good. Time for the mix!

We’ve known Bad Boy Bill for a long time now. Every since the early raver days we’ve loved his Hard House sound. Since then, Bad Boy Bill has changed up his vibe a bit and transversed a into the progressive house / electro sound. And we have to say, it’s working for him. We just found he has a show called Behind The Decks and we are liking what we are hearing. So plug in and get a does of badness.

If you are one of the fastest rising stars in the dance music scene, what would you do? Travel around the world? Check. Get a Las Vegas residency? Check. Spend a night on Love Line with Dr. Drew? Check. How about making a track with one of the biggest names in the music scene? Now MAKJ can officially check that one off his bucket list. Today, Hardwell and MAKJ released the official trailer video for their brand new collaboration ‘Countdown‘. The video features footage from Hardwell and MAKJ’s performance at the Hollywood Palladium as part of the Go Hardwell or Go Home Tour. ‘Countdown‘ features powerful basses, big snyths, and a catchy electro house topline break. With the countdown rising to an anticipated drop that still catches you off-guard, it gets your heart racing, your blood boiling, and your feet to not stop moving. Ever since Hardwell revealed ‘Countdown‘ in his highly touted Ultra Music Festival set, fans have been clamoring to find out what this track was. Now, the secret is out. No word on when the track would be released, but at least some of the anticipation has subsided. You can catch both these guys dropping big beats at TomorrowWorld, and make sure to catch MAKJ as he is set to support Bingo Players on their North American Fall Bus Tour as well as travel to Australia. |
