The 20JK Pop Up Store Berlin keeps on truckin' on Wednesday, September 4th, at 14:00 (local time) - come by to pick up exclusive vinyl and CD releases, plus take in talks, performances, and experience the open studios. Day 4 presents you with a live tech demo from Scott Monteith (at 16:00), who - after displaying his performance skills as Deadbeat on Monday - will give an in-depth look at his work with Ableton Push. For his latest tracks, Scott has embraced Ableton's unique hardware instrument/controller hybrid as a central piece in his studio setup. Here, he'll give a demonstration of how he's using Push with Live 9 in a hardware-enhanced set-up. At 18:00, Berlin's revered label Ostgut Ton will take over, presenting an amazing line-up with multi-faceted DJ stalwart Nick Höppner, techno visionary Answer Code Request and rising star Kobosil. Connected to the legendary Berghain/Panorama Bar, Ostgut Ton could easily be called “the” sound of Berlin: former label boss Nick Höppner brings his crate-digging history and love of lush melodies, followed by Patrick Gräser aka Answer Code Request, who is living proof that there must be something in the water where he grew up, as he and labelmates Marcel Dettman and Marcel Fengler have all come to the forefront of techno. Gräser will play live, bringing his dynamic, atmospheric electro to an eager crowd. Kobosil, fresh off an impressive release for Ostgut Ton's sub-label Unterton, rounds out the bill with his auteurist approach to brooding, bare-knuckled synth workouts. The Pop Up Store is located at Ableton HQ, Schönhauser Allee 6-7, Berlin, Germany - the space has a cap of 120 attendees, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

The 20JK Pop Up Store Berlin picks up its thoroughly curated run on Thursday, September 5th, at 14:00 (local time) - come by to pick up exclusive vinyl and CD releases, plus take in talks, performances, and experience the open studios. Day 5 presents you with an informed conversation featuring Blue Hawaii's Alex Cowan and Peter Kirn from techxpert hub Create Digital Music: written during the Canadian winter, Blue Hawaii’s full-length debut "Untogether" suggests, as the band name would, a longing for sunnier shores interwoven with a flair for 21st century angst. Alex Cowan, half of the duo, joins Create Digital Music head Peter Kirn for a discussion about his setup, influences, and more. Stick around for Blue Hawaii live later in the evening, following Terranova's DJ set at 18:00... in the words of German underground legend Fetisch and Keinemusik staple &ME: “We grew up and got our education in clubs and will produce and play music until we drop.” That should give you some idea of what to expect from the duo infernale known as Terranova during their genre-hopping DJ sets - don't forget to check out Terranova's latest release, the head-turning "Painkiller Remixe" EP featuring stunning reworks by Michael Mayer, Rampa & Re.You and David Mayer. The Pop Up Store is located at Ableton HQ, Schönhauser Allee 6-7, Berlin, Germany - the space has a cap of 120 attendees, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
