Thom Yorke and Chic sign up for Manchester's Warehouse Project

The lineup for this year's 12-week event has been announced, with other acts including the likes of the Chemical Brothers, Major Lazer and Flying Lotus

Chic, Thom Yorke, the Chemical Brothers and Hot Chip are some of the big names announced for this year's Warehouse Project. Manchester's superclub will play host to a string of nights, taking place over 12 weeks, curated by acts such as Rudimental, the Knife and Annie Mac.


Running between 27 September and culminating in a New Year's Day party on 1 January 2014, the annual festival and Manchester institution has picked up the best in electronic, disco, dancehall and pop music, from well-known performers such as Phoenix and Disclosure, to electronic pioneers like Major Lazer, Zomby, Julio Bashmore and Flying Lotus.

The Chemical Brothers' Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons will return to the city where they met while at university for a show on 6 December, while on 2 November Thom Yorke's DJ slot is nestled amongst Joy Orbison and Ben UFO & Pearson Sound sets, for a night hosted by Four Tet and Caribou. Chic have also chosen to play their last European show of 2013 at this year's event, at a night curated by Bestival on 1 November.

Further acts are still to be added to the bill. Tickets for all dates go on sale on 26 July at 9am from their website, thewarehouseproject.com.
