 This Sunday at Floripa, as well as welcoming singer and pianist Sean Haefeli on the live front, we will be joined in the DJ box by one of our favourite connoisseurs of jazz and beyond, Weegee. Have we got a treat for you this week. A while back resident Nik Weston secured this little mix from the Digger’s Digest crew and after a little hold up, it’s now time to unleash it. Selected and mixed by Mr. Ash, who was also responsible for compiling a selection of French jazz styles for the recent Freedom Jazz France compilation released on the Parisian record label, Heavenly Sweetness earlier this year, here he digs further still to bring us another ten pieces of strictly Gallic goodness.… [read more]
