On March 8, at the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles went HARD. The Sound of Q-dance invaded the City of Angeles for the second year in a row, to bring some of the biggest names in hardstyle to the mainstage. Featuring incredible productions and hard bass lines, Q-dance supplied a full list of incredible talent including Wildstylez, The Prophet, Frontliner, Brennan Heart, Sylence, Villain and Angelenos Lady Faith and Mr. Skeleton. The Sound of Q-dance is a show that can’t be described, it can only be experienced. But if there is one thing for sure, this after movie made us all wish Q-dance wasn’t over. Watch the video and listen to the soundtrack from Noisecontrollers featuring their tracks ‘Down Down‘ and ‘What?!‘.

Going on its 9th straight years as one of the must-attend events of WMC, Get Lost Miami returns in extraordinary fashion. Presented by Damian Lazarus and his Crosstown Rebels label, Get Lost Miami features some of the best performances and always the top atmosphere during the hectic, party week.
To make 2014 the biggest and best year yet, Get Lost Miami will be a non-stop 24 hour party for the first time ever. The event will encompass two interior rooms and an outside garden. With an lineup unlike anything else featuring Carl Craig, Droog, Heidi vs Scuba, Ida Engberg, Pete Tong, Sasha, Infinity Ink live, and many more. But one would be wise to remember, that the unannounced guests are always some of the highlights.
In the spirit of Get Lost's origins as an after-hours, Sasha will get the party kicked off at 5am, ushering in the dawn, before the opening of the outdoor garden and the daytime main event. A new addition to Get Lost this year is the inclusion of DJ Harvey's After-Hours Discotheque, transforming one of the interior rooms into an all night disco, DJ Harvey will close Get Lost starting at midnight with a five-hour set.

Today, Lady Gaga released her newest single ‘Do What You Want‘ featuring R. Kelly. While most talk has been about Lady Gaga and Zedd, ‘Do What You Want’ deserves just as much attention as it was produced by one of the rising stars of the dance music scene DJ Snake. DJ Snake has been getting critical attention with the release of his newest single ‘Turn Down The What‘ featuring Lil’ John and getting picked up for a national commercial for SOL speakers.
‘Do What You Want‘ is a masterful production. Featuring low, vibrating bass lines, a smooth drum progression and a synth progression helping power the track through the chorus, makes the track very pop for Lady Gaga, but still has a deep, dark feel the entire time. What is really special about this production is that DJ Snake crafted the song perfectly so that Lady Gaga and R. Kelly can both show their range and have their vocals compliment the production throughout the entire track. When listening to ‘Do What You Want’ it feels like DJ Snake was listening to the Drive soundtrack, as this production could be featured in that movie.
If you had to choose between Zedd and DJ Snake, I would give the upper hand to DJ Snake the entire time. ‘Do What You Want‘ is an incredible piece of work that really shows DJ Snake’s range. ‘Do What You Want‘ is out today ahead of her newest album, ARTPOP, available November 11th.
